The term Pediatric Dentistry or Children’s Dentistry refers to a true dental-stomatological specialty that requires specific knowledge and therapies. Our task is not only to resolve children’s oral pathologies, but also to educate people so that they are not afraid of the dentist.
The first appointment is for mutual understanding: no clinical procedures are performed, and the visit may last a variable amount of time, depending on the child’s willingness to interact with us. The child will be allowed to explore the reception areas. During the first visit, parents and children will receive all the information regarding dental hygiene and diet, in order to immediately correct any incorrect behavior that may have contributed to the pathology. The first visit may be followed by other, brief encounters, necessary for the child to become familiar with the clinical environment and tools, until the child calmly agrees to begin the therapeutic plan, with absolute respect for their personality.
